#216 - Nick Buckley (Interview Show)

Nick Buckley was awarded an MBE by The Queen in 2019 for his work with Mancucian Way, the charity he founded in 2011 to support vulnerable and disenfranchised young people. Following an article he wrote about the Black Lives Matter organisation he was fired by the charity's board in 2020 but, following a public outcry, the board of trustees resigned and he was reinstated. He gives Tom his two cents on this tumultuous year, identity politics, Harry Styles, coronavirus and his favourite music. NB - This episode was originally recorded as part of Tom's Greatest Music of All Time Podcast, which organically evolved from its inception in early 2020, from a focus on the discussion of music to also exploring pop culture, comedy, entertainment, entrepreneurship, philosophy, science, politics and current affairs commentary. It was renamed as the Tom Cridland Podcast in January 2023.
