Galatoire's is a New Orleans institution, with beautiful old school decor, lots of atmosphere, superb food and nice, strong cocktails. This is right on Bourbon Street but is an oasis of tranquility and sophistication in contrast to the debauchery that will inevitably ensue after dinner here, on the same road, should you have one too many sazeracs.
