Denny Tedesco has a conversation with Tom about his documentary, The Wrecking Crew, which tells the story of the group of famed Los Angeles session musicians - including Leon Russell, Hal Blaine, Glen Campbell and Denny's father, Tommy - whose services were employed in the creation of thousands of the most iconic studio recordings of the 1960s. He also discusses his follow up documentary that is currently in production: The Immediate Family, celebrating the lives of five of popular music's most accomplished "sidemen", Steve Postell, Danny Kortchmar, Waddy Wachtel, Leland Sklar, and Russ Kunkel, whose careers began in the 1970s with artists such as James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt.
